Perfect fit. While I can't attest to performance improvement, I can state that at the price, it's at least worth doing as a replacement for paper filters. with the ability to clean it and use forever, it should at least cover the cost many times over. I bought this to replace a nasty paper filter in a vehicle I had just bought, so I don't know about mpg or power improvement. I do know my durango gets better mileage than I expected, but I don't know if that's just lucky, or if the filter actually made a difference.

One product review stated the filter is not quite the right length. His measured 1/4†too short. Mine was 1/8†short, but it does work. However, if I was just to drop it in and close the lid, it probably wouldn’t seal correctly. I needed to stretch it over the rim (in the lid) for the lid to seal properly. Now that I know this, it’s not a problem. But some people might not know it, and would get a poor seal. It also was not pre-lubricated, but I have K&N oil, which I applied.

This is a very nice air filter. I have not noticed any difference in mileage, but I also don’t pay attention close enough. If there is a difference it’s quite small. The noticeable difference to me was all in the torque. You can feel a noticeable shift in power and it pairs nicely with an intake upgrade for a 1999 Cherokee. I haven’t decided if I will re-use, If I do I will update this!Update Spring 2021 - I’ve had this for almost 2 years! I cleaned it and reused it after the first year. I noticed it was dirty around a month ago so I cleaned it again. I’ll eventually get around to grabbing another one from here, but for now it’s working perfectly to this day!

Perfect fit for my 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Well made and my truck is “breathing†beautifully!!! Nice alternative to more expensive brands and certainly way better than paper air filters that are not much cheaper. Great buy,

I have had this filter on my 05 Dakota AWD 4.7l Laramie for 3 days, I have seen an improvement in gas milage with tracker already having milage from 1/4 tank of fuel gone through and it went from 14.1 to 15.7 in 3 days and 1/8 tank of fuel. When the truck used to lag going up hills, now it is smooth not much higher engine load than when on near level, OBD2 was showing 100% load going up the hill last week and last 3 days it is showing 71% same speed, same hill, same tank of fuel, about the same temperature, nothing else has change. I have already recommended this filter to 5 co-workers and 2 of my friends.

Viene un poco más pequeño (unos 5mm) pero no afecta su funcionamiento....el vehÃculo se siente más aliviado al momento de acelerar y al 3er cambio ya se recupera la inversión....recomendado.

Installed on my Jeep XJ and my motor likes the amount of air in now gets. Perfect fit in original bowl and costs a lot less than adding a cold air intake.
