Spectre Performance 8148 Air Duct Mounting Plate
Spectre’s Intake Tube/Duct Mounting Plate allows an air filter with a 3 inch inlet, a 3 inch intake tube, or a coupler to be mounted directly to any flat surface, such as an inner fenderwell or radiator support, to bring cool air into the intake. Featuring a universal design, this intake tube mounting plate is constructed using ABS plastic. This product may require drilling additional holes in some applications.

I was a little unsure that this would work when I bought this and the hose to replace my old factory intake hose on my 2009 Chevy HHR that had many splits in it and making the car idle rough, but with a modification by drilling two small holes "one up & one down" at a cross angle over the inside fender wall air hole the whole assembly fit like a dream and the quality and appearance looks better than the OEM part for whole lot cheaper! And rough idle gone.

I bought two of these along with the 3" Spectre air duct to keep vent heat after removing the blower fan and A/C evaporator from my hot rod '84 Corvette. These are a bit flimsy and cheaply made but they have stood up to the heat in the engine bay and have worked great for my setup.

Measurements and need to be described better you need to show photo of the measurements of the flange that connects to the inside of the engine compartment. It is way too small description poorly

This piece surprised me. I was expecting a thick abs part that I thought I would have to modify.This product was not thick or clunky. This product was finished very well and a quality product.There is not any product flange out there to do the intended use that was this refined.Very happy with the purchase and surprised by the price.

Wasn't a bolt on piece as expected had to modify it slightly for my 92 legacy hole was the right size though lol quick shipping as well
