Same size as K&N RG1002 but about $10 less. Used on the 4 inch inlet pipe to a Procharger. Affects boost the same. K&N would get dirty quickly so it does filter well, but the rubber base was always a little loose and would eventually not want to keep the filter attached. The Spectre base appears alot tighter to the filter and hasn't separated so far. K&N has a nice aerodynamic spike in the small end cone, but this Spectre doesn't, that'd be the only negative, but for a street car, that's a non-issue.

This air filter rocks! Huge upgrade for my HVLP painting system, and a secondary one added to my diesel heater for extending service life of equipment and aiding in preventive maintenance. I'll be putting one of these on my truck very soon! Who knows what I'll find next to install a spectre filter on. Hmm I might just even put one on my toaster one day - jus cos they look so dam Kool. 🤙

While these filters last a long time, be aware that they'll last longer with a little maintenance. Instead of waiting 50,000 miles like the description suggests, check it every oil change because the rubber flange does deteriorate over time. It might be wise to pull it off once a year or so to treat the rubber flange with a preservative like armor all or something because my first filter eventually disintegrated at the rubber flange while the filter material could have gone another 100,000 miles. They're well worth the money though.

Selon mes calcules la superficie ( surface de filtrage ) est ~710 cm quarré (S = πRL), pour moi c'est +67% de la surface du filtre ordinaire. Bonne qualité et assemblage facile, si vous avez d'une place sous votre capot de voiture :-)

This should be enough for any V8's out there, but also make sure you use 102mm tubes for max flow.""December 2023 update:- This filter became a bucket of rust, an engine hazard- The structural integrity of the filter was at stake- The filter posed a problem in a P-FLOW setup because of it's massive weight it kept tilting down towards the belts... I had to strap it to the TB- Replaced it with a much lighter and more cost sensitive option. (look for RIAYOOE filters)

Not the first spectre filter I have used, will continue to buy them for all vehicles I am responsible for maintaining. On my own vehicles I can feel and see the difference these filters make
