I am with others. These are not white but what they call ivory if you compare them to wall plates. They do work, and easy to install,mostly. The back plate has some really hard to remove knockouts. You are better off just drilling through it yourself. Trying to cut or knock them out is next to impossible.

I connected them without reading the instructions and got angry that they didnt work. But then I realized the manufacturer disconnected the lithium battery to comply with shipping regulations. So now I'm excited. They're very bright and last bery long on battery power [I know because I ran a 90 minute test]. They're also pretty light weight, compared to the big old ones that I replaced.

You advertise this as white, your pictures show a bright white device, but the item you shipped is cream. I was under a deadline for compliance, so I had to install. It looks 20 years old already. Separating the casing from the backing plate was hard enough when it wasn't installed on the wall. Will only be more difficult in the future. Three box didn't want to click together and it was only through a lot of force that I could get the AC connection working. Would probably try another device next time.
