I am 5'7", 145 lbs. I ordered a small. Fits perfectly. Veu well made and rugged. Pads are perfectly placed: elbows, shoulders and spine. Removable hoodie. And one of the best features...a pocket/holster to carry a pistol! It has so many features, I just pointed out some of them. The weather is perfect right now for the ]jacket to be worn with the liner. In a few weeks, I'll take off the liner and open the zipper/vents. Can't wait to ride with it! GREAT BUY!

I bought this jacket a year ago. I wear it almost daily to work and casual nights out.Pros:Durable, discrete, versatile and stylish.Vents are great. Wearing backpack while riding reduces airflow considerably.Things to improve / comments:1 - If it rains, you will get wet. Not waterproof.2 - The inside hoodie gets beat up much faster than the rest of the jacket. (Maybe about 8 months in) The fabric starts getting those little cotton balls, it is still functional but not that much pretty looking.3 - The neck material could be a little better quality.4 - Has no way to adjust the elbow protection so if you ride with the outer shell in summer, or fits loose, protection could move from the place where you want it on a crash. The waist adjustment at maximum still fits loose for me (bought an L and wear normally 32 inch pants). The only adjustment point is the wrist, mind that it may not be a very secure fit over your gloves.5 - While summer city riding with it you will get hot.6 - D3O Back protector will make it much easier to carry around (you know... it bends).

Comfortable jacket, easy to remove hoodie to make it less warm in the summer heat. There are two small vents on the arm and two larger vents on the back. They do an okay job, it does get a little warm in stop and go commuting but not terrible. I’m 5’9” and 230lbs the XL fits snugly but not tight and is comfortable. The padding all rests and stays in the right places for riding. Great jacket for spring and fall, less great for summer but still usable for sure. Only thing I would change is adding some vents on the chest area and I think it would be great even in the heat.

Wanted a military-tactical look coat with a dedicated hood for winter to replace one that I had gotten about 8 years ago at Kohl's. This is a fantastic jacket, made well and has a lot of attributes I didn't even realize before I ordered it. The material is waterproof, there are a bunch of zipped pocket containers, the fit is accurate, and I love the sleeves with the holes for my thumbs, to keep the inner fleece aligned. My GF looked at it and said it's the kind of coat that a Brinks guard or night watchman would use. It seems much more pro-level than the price would imply.

This is the best jacket I've ever purchased. It's super comfy, feels great, looks great, and has quality materials. The hoodie part comes can be separated from the rest of the jacket if you want to wear it alone, which I think is a nice feature because I don't usually need two layers unless I am going riding. I wear the hoodie casually and then when I take out my motorcycle I wear the jacket as seen in the pictures. This is a great looking jacket. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks way better in person.I'm 6'4, 315 lbs, and a 2 XL fits me good.Hope this review was helpful.

I like the jacket a lot as far as looks go. There are some things Speed and Strength could do to really knock this one out of the park. The things I noticed that should be improved:First, the liner/sweatshirt is only secured by the zippers on the inside front of the shell and also the loop around the back of the neck. When I put my arms in the jacket, the lower half of the sweatshirt sleeves popped right out the end of th outter sleeve in a big bunch of fabric. There should be a way to secure the inner sweatshirt cuff to the cuff of the outter shell.Second, the cuffs on the sweatshirt are THICK! Too thick to fit under gloves. They should have just used a receded cuff with a small thumb-only wristlet loop.Third, small, but noticeable change could be to the zippers. They seem like they will be sturdy and reliable. But, they could have used locking zippers. These zippers can be pushed down with one finger by pushing downward on the zipper body. Or by pulling the fabric in opposite direction. Not very confidence inspiring if I was ever in a slide.Lastly, the armor pieces could be bigger. The elbows work ok, but the shoulders are TINY. I have big shoulders, but these armor pieces are almost like thin little pucks on the very tips of my shoulders. I don't think bigger aftermarket panels can be put into the jacket because the armor pockets are the exact size of the current armor panels themselves.Hopefully I never have to test the impact or slide protection of this jacket. It's a decent budget jacket and better than no armor, but it could definitely be improved.

This is my 2nd jacket by Speed n Strength. The fitment is true to almost on the larger side , so there’s no cramping .Also it’s a big plus to have all of the pads in place unlike other jackets that might skimp out on a back protector. The removable sweatshirt liner is awesome, I rock it by itself on chilly days.I’d definitely by more of their products.

This is my first motorcycle jacket and my first day, I had lowsided on a corner at 10 MPH in my parking lot. The jacket did a good job of protecting my upper body, however there were a couple of small holes in the forearm and the right side seam (which did not make contact with the pavement) totally came apart. After sewing the seam together though, the jacket has been great. The inside hoodie is super warm and keeps me comfortable at 30 degree Minnesotan weather on a naked bike. Without it, I am comfortable up to 80 to 90 degree with the vents open. Great jacket, however mine did not come with an inside pocket holster, something I was actually disappointed and frustrated to find out that it was missing. I was too excited to start riding though, and had already ripped up the jacket so I didn't begin the return process.

Pros:• Good value as it comes with CE Back, Shoulder, Elbow protectors and is nice quality textile.• Good 3 season jacket, comes with a soft hoodie liner that makes it much warmer and looks good on its own too.• Fits about right, I usually wear a Large and got a Large and it felt like it usually does.• Overall quality is good and well made.Cons:• Only ventilation on arm slits and back, probably want full mesh on really hot days.• Amour on shoulders and elbows are a bit loose, but once adjusted and properly zipped/cuffed up while in your riding position it doesn’t move.Overall:Nice quality & value, looks great and is by a reputable brand. Only fault is the loose armour when wearing it more relaxed.

Beau look et de qualité. Le manteau est très lourd.
