Used this to face the sides of an old hardened anvil, all other cutters were no match for the anvil, but this cutter did great!

It does the job intended for (aluminum in this case) so what more can you ask for plus it is a good value.

I have a Desktop 3020 ProMax v2, with trim router spindle upgrade. I never expected to be able to mill steel, but took a chance on this bit given the positive reviews of Speedtiger. Not only was I able to slot a piece of mild steel bar, but it left a really nice finish despite being sold as a roughing bit. More than pleased with purchase.

When it cut, it cut really nicely. However, I've broken two of these doing very simple slotting. The other 1/4" carbide end mills I have slot just fine without breaking. Same mill, same feeds and speeds. Your mileage may vary.
