works well! i use a lot of water-based speedball inks and this one is just like the others. the only thing i noticed is that there is sometimes a texture in some prints moreso than others but that doesnt make a huge difference to me, since every print will be unique anyways :) and my etsy is tenderblocks if anyone is interested in a print!

I bought this for a printmaking class with kids. Color is good/strong. Consistency good for brayer and easy to clean up with water.

I used this on a set of block print holiday cards tonight: great results. I want to emphasize that they clearly state that this is for paper products, not fabric. It isn’t fair to complain that it won’t set on fabric.

Finally broke open this tube and decided to do some printing experiments with this very "neon" color. and WOW. ink seems slightly thicker and tackier than other colors and it made a really REALLY cool print on turquoise paper. BUT.... after it dried I noticed I could rub the ink off the paper with a small amount of pressure. Not even a fingernail just using my finger. Just like powder. BUMMED OUT. So I went and bought some Krylon fixative and sprayed it. Took a couple of coats, and I HATE the toxicity of the fumes, but I love my final product. Will keep working with this and see if I can figure out more about it because I LOVE the color.

When I ordered the ink it said it would arrive on Tuesday. My printing night was Monday. Oh well, I would use it later. I was surprised when it arrived a day early just an hour before my event. All the stores in our area were out of black ink. The price matched what I could find locally. The night was very successful. Speedball ink is good quality and is easy to clean up. I am new to block printing. I am sure my technique using the brayers and burnishing needs help, but the ink performed well.

Really disappointed with this brand. I bought the brown ink which was excellent quality. I thought all their colours would be of this quality. I got a black one and it never dries fully, even after days and weeks. It easily smudges and has left me with a lot of pointless wastage for my work. This is quite pricey for water based ink that is supposed to be considered good quality. I won't risk buying another colour again. Really disappointing and lacks consistency as a brand. Avoid!

No amount of ironing, tumble drying or cooking will heat set this product. Washes straight out of cotton even on a cold setting. Terrible.

The speedball ink covered well and consistent on my roller as well it produced a consistent distribution on the print paper
