This is a great brush! It allows me to paint on the go with a brush with the hair protected by a cap that doubles as a handle. The bristles allow smooth, clean strokes and lines that I can vary in width by how my pressure I use on the brush. I think a size 6 is a good choice if I can only have one brush with me so it's the one I keep in my tote bag with a travel set of pan watercolors and a small pad of watercolor or multi-media paper for those impromptu art moments while out and about.A lot of travel pan watercolor sets have brushes that are so small, which is good when painting small areas, and better than no brush at all, but they're limited in how much I can do with them. The size 6 is a perfect brush to accompany them or to use alone if you don't have a small brush that came in your set.I'm very happy with this brush and the high quality of it. I definitely want to buy a few more sizes to take along with me too.

I love this brush so much that I use it at home and away. I own it in several different sizes, but this one is a gift for my niece! The visual bristles resemble sable, but r Harding performance, they have a tad more body/snap and naturally they don’t hold quite as much liquid. The Prado is my preferred bristle type for watercolor of those in a more affordable range, as it feels quite special and retains a high performance w/ her sharp, precise point! Additionally, it’s the ideal for travel!

I paint as I travel around the world and these travel Escoda brushes are excellent. The bristles last a good long time and they hold a nice amount of pigment. The way the brush comes apart and fits into the handle is very snug and makes it excellent for travel and for carrying out in the field. This number 6 brush is a good all around size. I also carry several other sizes out in the field, but this is the one I end up painting with the most, and so I carry two of them, in case, for some reason one of them gets lost or damaged.

This is the best watercolor brush I own. It is better the the real sable brushes I bought for twice as much from another company. Holds water and keeps it tip for great line work!

The paintbrush holds a lot of paint, has nice snap to the bristles, and is great for thin or thick lines. Once collapsed it will easily fit into a small watercolor palette, or into a pocket. I purchased it specifically for travel, but I’ve found that I like it so much that I am using it at home very regularly.

Escoda makes great watercolor brushes. I purchased this one for a plein air kit that I put together. I wanted something small and light weight to fit in my kit and still be of quality. This brush fit the bill. It is a #6 Prado.I am very happy with the purchase.

This is an awesome brush. It holds a good amount of water and has a nice tip. The cap is very secure and I love that I can very it in my purse without worrying about messing up the brush. I love this travel brush.

Initially i was in love, i mean LOVE with this brush. It was perfect, well balanced, held a beautiful point and lots of watercolor. However...my feelings changed when i tried to pack it up to fly home. There is a waxy substance that has filled the tube the brush is supposed to fit into. I tried pushing it back into the tube, tried melting it...nothing worked. The return time is up so i guess i have a brush that won't travel. BEWARE.

I have several Escoda brushes so I'm pretty sure this one is good. But since it is still floating around somewhere I can't comment on it.
