These are hard to find on Amazon when looking for Super Saver shipping. A carving instructor introduced me to using these linoleum cutter as a cheap but very effective set of gouges. They cut real well when properly sharpened and honed. Try them - you wont be disappointed. You will also have to purchase a handle to hold the blades.

perfect for carving ultra-thin lines. I wish I'd gotten the smaller V before - it makes details much easier.

I think the quality has declined on speedball. I was a bit disappointed at how poorly these cut right out of the package.

Arrived on time, well packed and undamaged.Blades arrive with a lot of burrs - needing sanding to remove but that can be managed with a decent fingernail kit/ sander & polishing files, if you don't have high grit wet n' dry sandpaper etc. Not really a big problem.
