This is like the old speedo's durable and great for lap swimming. May be color fast too, but not sure yet. Legs are a little tight, but I have skinny legs and I like it. Sizing is similar to pants size. I'm an older guy and didn't want to look like I had a jock on, so I opted for this suit. It's been great, even though most of the current speedo products fall apart and even lose their shape.

I purchased this as a replacement for the same suit I bought years ago. I'm in my 40s and not a competitive swimmer, but call it 2-3 times per week for 2-3 years, and that suit held up like a champ. This replacement seems similarly well-built (how many items today seem less solid than the identical models they replace?), and finally to the point -- it works. I use this suit for my workaday workouts, and on the rare occasion that I'm in a race, I use a non-drag suit. The difference is immense. This suit is also modest in all the ways that a men's suit should be, which is to say that you could wear it around non swimming types (in a pinch) and not be embarrassed. One item of note - it does run small. I'm a 33-34 waist, and the 36 inch waist for this suit is perfect. Anything smaller and I think I'd have trouble getting my legs into it.

I ordered this suit after shopping around for one in this style on multiple sites. I liked the look of it and it appeared to be well made, but I ended up having to return it due to an issue with the leg openings. The bathing suit fit well everywhere except around the leg openings which were incredibly tight and actually caused marks on my legs after trying it on for only a few minutes. I am 6'1", weight 175 lbs. and have legs that are by no means large nor upper thighs that are noticeably larger around than average. I was very surprised at how extremely snug the leg openings were and ended up having to return it due only to this issue.

update 2021-09-10: I've gained some weight, but still same in pants (but athletic). These speedos have become tight, especially since my thighs and glutes are thicker too. Happy to report, my ten-year-old suit is still holding up, except the leg hems' ring material deteriorated, and crumbled pieces fall every now and then. Unnoticeable while worn and swimming.The fabric is much thicker, sturdier, and more supportive than that of lycra jammers.Original review:Ordered a size 28 as others have mentioned they run larger. It fits as I wanted, nice and secure. Tying the drawstring helps too.I can fit 31 levi jeans and docker pants, but I prefer to wear 32 for most other things and use a belt if need.Bought these in 2011, still good.

Just finished a half mile. The legs grab at you. The front, well I actually took off to make sure it wasn't the back. Terrible at conforming. And then the label tag ripping into your back. There's nothing comfortable, I wish I could return, but I thought I'd actually swim in them. So listen to me, these are terribly uncomfortable. I have a lap pool and swim often, these are not what I want to be in.

Quick delivery, exactly the same as it was shown on the picture, very good quality. According to the size guide, my husband needed to order size 34! (UK), but usually he wears trousers and shorts size 32, so we took a risk and ordered 32, as usual, and it fitted just perfect. Would recomend for swimmers fro training.

These are a great middle ground between briefs and trunks. I purchased them when I started swimming for fitness.The size guide is reliable. Fits as advertised.Comfortable and discreet. The drawstring pulls as tight as you want and ties firmly.You can squeeze out most of the water pretty easily.All in all, it’s a good buy. If you’re choosing between different products of this class, I am happy to endorse this one as a safe buy. You can’t go wrong.
