These looked like what my cat would enjoy -- she loves to chase things. But one roller ball did not turn on -- even when fully chargedThe other roller ball would turn on but would not adjust speeds, as described in product instructions -- it was ricocheting all over and intimidated even an 80 lb dog, who is not easily intimidated -- cat stayed away.Not too useful or functional for the purpose stated.

My more skittish cats started out slightly alarmed by these, because they’re loud and fast and abrupt. Bessie jumped over it every time it got close. Barney leapt to the safety of the back of the couch. Oreo, my youngest and the most idiotic of the bunch, kept up with it. Tillman hid under the play tent we keep in the family room and waited for it to come to him. I’m not totally familiar with the settings yet— and there’s only one button— but the balls seem to “go to sleep†after a while; I'm not sure if it’s time since cat engagement or if they are only active for a set period of time. But when it stopped, I just had to find it and hit the on button again. The slow speed on this is quite fast, so I don’t think these are well suited for elderly or overly cautious cats. But if you have young rambunctious idiots like I do, they will LOVE them, and you’ll love watching them. I was practically rolling on the floor today. They also escape from weird places pretty well on their own, though I’m sure I’ll be retrieving them from lots of off random places eventually. I think these are the funnest cat toy I’ve seen in a long time. Bad grammar intended because I felt like a six year old enjoying watching the shenanigans.

You have to play with this toy at the same time your cat does it's constantly getting stuck behind doors in your house going under the couch or behind appliances in the kitchen. But it does keep them occupied for sure

Trash. After only a couple of times using this item, the cover came off of it while it was rolling around on the carpet. What seemed like an easy fix of snapping it back on, is not so simple and will not snap back on, so now it doesn’t work as designed. Maybe I received a defective one and it was a fluke? Based on other reviews, it seemed like a positive purchase, nonetheless, I will be returning.

Just received these yesterday. Our cat loves it. She mostly just watches it but she's definitely laser focused on it. It does what it's supposed to but it's difficult switching the modes as it only has one button and different colored lights and flashing patterns have different meanings. I'd prefer if it just had a couple physical switches to toggle instead. I'm sure it's super easy once you figure it out though. Otherwise it's a great toy

I've been seeing this toy all over my Facebook feed and I thought it looked like a good option for my cat who LOVES to play. Unfortunately neither toy in the 2 pack worked as described. Neither of them were touch activated on the blue setting. The orange ball was oddly less powerful than the blue and didn't roll well on the carpet. And the blue ball kept completely turning off despite being charged. What it DID do well was making it out of spaces where it might have other wise gotten stuck. That function worked really well.
