Beautiful transmitter. It looks to me like someone has returned it though. The box had been open, tape was cut on the inner cardboard protector, and the manual has bends so it has been used. But it works perfect so I’m not complaining that’s why I gave it four stars.

The reason I bought this transmitter was for the sole purpose of telemetry for my Kraton 6s. Spectrum/Horizon Hobby has the worst customer support. I originally overspent to purchase BT module for dx3 transmitter, the phone mount and the spektrum smart batteries only to find out the Spektrum dashboard app basically doesn’t work and is poorly supported. Now that I purchased this transmitter, in order to update the firmware you must first register your product, HOWEVER this product isn’t even listed on the Spektrum registration website SO THERE IS CURRENTLY NO WAY TO REGISTER THE PRODUCT. I have used Traxxas products for years and their customer support is 1000 times better that Spektrum/Horizon Hobby!

I've used spektrum hardware for a long time now, but I'm disappointed with the current lineup of transmitters. I have several full track vehicles that use 4 mixes to operate the drive system. My old dx5r had plenty of mixes to cover my needs. I replaced it with the new dx6c, only to find out I only had 2 mixes one for steering and only one custom mix. Don't know why they'd program the new transmitters with so few mixes. Now I will have to find room for another custom module, after I build and program it. You would think spektrum would be able to add more features without taking away the features the users already enjoy.

Can not get the controller to connect to a PC. Have tried multiple cables and computers. Controller shows that it is connected but none thing on the computer. Not even the sound when you connect a usb device. Tried playing with the USB setting in the controller. Called tech support and they said the controller was bad and I was doing everything correctly. Returned my first controller and got a replacement. 2nd controller same issue. Unable to connect to any PC. Going to keep the 2nd controller. Would have given it 5 stars because I like everything else about the controller so far.

I have dx5 rugged, hate it . No backlight and touchscreen is agrivating!!. Got this one, love it! Only problem i had was updates. I didn't realize that some usb c cables only had power! Got one with data and power, registered and checked for updates. The knob is way better than touchscreen!!
