Convenient for non-contact measurement of running machinery in factories and elsewhere since, unlike tachometers, stroboscopes require no special reflective tapes. Powerful xenon lamp. The ½” high 4 digit LED is easy to read in both light and dark environments. Microprocessor circuit with a crystal time base insures high accuracy over a wide range and does not require recalibration. Built in tripod screw. Works on 110V, 220V, 240V. Dimensions: 9” x 5” x 5” (235 x 125 x 125 mm) Weight: 32 oz (900 g).

For the most part I am satisfied with this product. It provides a moderately bright and fairly crisp light. It doesn't work well in well-lit environments. The adjustment knob is painfully tedious to use...I have a very difficult time in trying to adjust to a specific frequency...the adjustment tension is too great and when the knob does move it is almost always too much. BUT...this is not a high end stroboscope, so for the cost, it is a very good value.

Works as advertised and much brighter than a phone app.

The strobe illumination was weak, not bright at all. I was refunded with no problem. I elected a refund over a replacement because I just couldn’t tell if it was poor quality control or was rough handling. I could hear a loose part in the stroboscope case.

Ordered this back in 2020. It does what it says and works well for frequency specific strobe needs. Was reasonable priced at ~$32. Does not make sense over $100 now.

Very accurate, good for using in the lab. and I like it. But size is big. I wish the size can be smaller, so I can carry with me when my trip needs.Fast delivery. Thanks!

Careful check-out shows the Sper DT-2239 meets its specifications and is bright enough for use in a well-lit room at rates above 500 FPM. It occasionally skips a flash when operating at high rates, likely because I live at 7000' elevation so the air pressure is low. The RPM readout seems to be quite accurate - synchronous motors run steady at the correct indicated speed. In all, a good instrument at a good price - recommended.
