If you've ever flattened stock with a plane (before a planer or jointer) and then you try this...You'll forget how much work flattening used to be and you'll start building jigs to use this every chance you get.I'm using it in a Bosch MRC23. It works pretty well. Be careful.

Would be a great product. Im on my 3rd rotation of cutters and every time the Torque screws are seized and go threw bits upon bits plus PB blaster to get them out. Maybe a larger Torque sizee next time?

I really wanted to like this. I just imagined how quickly it would surface things on my CNC. However, it was just too much vibrations to use. I have a Onefinity Elite 48" by 48" with a 80mm water-cooled spindle. So not a small light machine. But when I tried to load this it was shaking the whole thing.I use a lot of SpeTool Bits and have generally found them to be pretty decent quality. But this one felt dangerous to use both for myself and for possible damage to the machine from the vibrations.It is just so heavy, which would be great if the balance was right, but makes it so bad if the balance is off.I recommend SpeTool as a brand, but not this bit.

I just installed this bit and the bit was out of balanced and the vibration was so bad that it damaged my router sled which I will have to buy replacement parts to fix. Unfortunately, I discovered this after the return period so now I'm out $70 for the bit and another $100+/- to repair my sled. hopefully this is/was a one-off issue.

Shaft diameter measures out at .471". with the router chuck maxed out, it still falls out loose. All my other bits are .498". Completely useless with this size.
