I use these for inlay work and very small, shallow routing operations, mounted in a Dremel tool. They are SHARP and very precise. An excellent value!

Worked exactly as advertised and was very effective for me. They measure exactly and are extremely sharp.

I wish the shoulder was just a hair higher. It's a little too close for comfort when cutting through 1/4" stock.

Hubby didn't complain and used them so I guess they're good. He'd have complained if they weren't good

I like these bits. I just did a series of Celtic knot engravings in cherry wood with these bits using my Origin Shaper. I was pushing the bit speed to about 30,000 rpm. This bit cut through the cherry like it wasn't there. There was no damage to the bit and heating seemed minimal. As always, the cut depth per pass must be limited to the bit diameter. So it must be kept in mind that this bit cannot be expected to cut more than 1/16th of an inch deep per pass. To achieve appreciable depths of cut, greater than that, multiple passes must be made. Overall, so far, I am satisfied with these bits.

I love these bits. They're sharp and cut nice and clean. What especially like about them is that they're strong bits. I only managed to break one because my machine glitched and collided full speed into the workpiece. I even once mistakenly programmed in a stepdown slightly longer than the cutting length of the bit and it survived, to my surprise. I will buy these again.

I'd been using SpeTool bits in my routers for some time, so it wasn't a difficult decision to turn to them when I bought my CNC machine. At this price, you can essentially buy 10 bits for the price of one brand-name coated bit. I've put one of these through the paces on an intricate inlay project and it performed admirably.Let's face it, if I break a bit, it's probably going to be because I did a momentary stupid thing. If that bit's an Amana, I'm off to spend another $50 and my project is delayed. If it's a SpeTool, I reach into the drawer and pull out another one of these, and I'm out $5. For me, that's a no-brainer.

Spetools has been knocking it out of the park. I would fully recommend this to hobbyists and enthusiasts. I wouldn't recommend it to pros because I find you do need to run your machine a little more conservatively to avoid cutter breaks.I am using these on a hobby grade CNC router in aluminum and brass. I would recommend checking out Estcam's Trochoidal milling profiles as it allows you a much deeper depth of cut and that can help prolong tool life.
