This weight is great for a light addition to your recurve bow. I used half the weight to stablize my bow. The only problem is that they like to fall off. So check for your weight when you pack up to make sure it is still there.

These disks are a good-looking combination of weights to get the total just right... However, i had to use a 1/4-20 tap tool to clean up a few segments. I really wish the whole set was 5/16" - 24 thread, which would fit the lower stabilizer hole instead of needing the 'archery adapter' threaded piece... Perhaps i will bore out all the holes and tap them 5/16 the way i want.

When I saw the images of this product, I actually thought it was a little bigger. I am glad on the size they chose though, it is very compact, well-being heavy enough to do the job. Everything you need is included in the package. It all comes in one compact little tube, I was actually surprised by how small it was when it arrived. It comes with enough weights for any bow on the market. Individually they are heavy, and there are a lot of them. I actually don't even need to use them all to balance my bow, but I added the last two anyways, because I like the extra weight, and look. It's only a little off balance now anyways. And, that is all my fault. I could totally take a couple plates off and have it perfectly balanced, but I'm not. I have tried it on a few different bows, compound and recurve, with perfect results on both styles. The weights are very easy to stack up, then just add the mounting stud, and screw it on your bow. Whether it is directly to the frame, or in your balance bar, this device works great, and will not get in the way. Overall, this is a great product, with a very reasonable price. I will be ordering more, a set for each bow. Could be used as the counterweight and Recoil Reducer, even two sets on each bow potentially. Highly recommended.
