I usually stick with QAD rests, for their simplicity, reliability, and accuracy, but they cost $100-$150 pretty easily. I've always wanted to try the high end Hamskea rests, but they cost $300, and I could never justify paying that much.Enter the SPG SP924 rest. It's highly modeled after the Hamskea Epsilon, but not a 1:1 clone, and even has features not offered with the Hamskea. This may be the best rest I've ever used!It is almost infinitely adjustable. Seriously, everything on this sight is adjustable, and can be tuned to your EXACT needs. It's so adjustable, that many people might have a hard time setting it up. You really need to know what you are doing if your gonna use this rest. It is NOT for newbies.Pros:The blade can be adjusted in both directions, full height, and full drop. And 2 different blades are included, with different heights and geometry's. They are made of real carbon fiber sheet. The spring tension for the blade raise is adjustable. The rest position is adjustable for both windage and elevation, and have fine tuning adjustment knobs, and locking bolts. You can make adjustments as fine as 1/10th of a millimeter. The Berger hole slot can of course be adjusted for front to back, and rotation, and has 2 riser set screws to lock it in place against the riser. The blade action arm can be adjusted rotationally, to get the perfect alignment with the bow limb. The arrow containment cage can be removed. It includes 2 "pre-draw" arrow mount blocks, of 2 different heights, that attach to the rest, and 1 shelf mounted arrow rest block that already has 3M tape applied. The limb cable is very long to accommodate compound bows of any length, and has a slide lock toggle already tied into it, for easy adjustments for rest timing.Cons:There are a couple of slight negatives that I'd like to point out however...The blade action arm uses an external spring where the cable attaches to the rest. This helps in reducing unwanted over-travel tension, and works good, but it may cause inconsistency over time, as the spring may weaken from use.The action string itself could be of higher quality, but it's easily replaceable with any string of your choosing. The "fine tuning" knobs are a bit sticky, and can be hard to turn at times, but they are completely functional. The packaging was terrible. It didn't even come in a box. The whole kit was just in a Ziploc bag, in an Amazon envelope. It didn't come with any instructions, so you have to be a very experienced archer to be able to install and tune this rest.Overall, the Pros vastly outweigh the Cons. This rest rivals other rests that cost $300. It is an absolute gem at this price ($60 at time of this review). This may be the only rest I will ever use on any of my bows from now on.

The arrow rest inner arm spring wasn’t strong enough to hold the arrow up at full draw. Pour quality.

This is a great test with lots of adjustment. The launcher is adjustable for both up and down Travel. The blade will hit the containment ring in the stock setting, so you will need to adjust it. The blade is a tapered Target style. Of not the rest cord mount should be removed while you are adjusting windage. It can run into the elevation block. Reinstall after adjustments are done. Comes with wide whaletail blade, different size arrow risers for placement pre-draw. The cord rubber pad sticky was.defective so I used a 3M doublesided tape portion to hold it in place. The rest cord material is not as stout as BCY 2.0mm and does not ball up as well when making the end knots. Overall its amazing, has full bearing support and facilitates 2 berger bolts.

The inner spring has two way adjustability and three different screw holes to adjust the stiffness. It also has great tune ability.

After using the SPG arrow rest with my compound bow for a long weekend of shooting, I am ready to share my thoughts on its performance in practice and hunting scenarios. The arrow rest has a sleek design and straightforward functionality, which aims to improve shot accuracy without unnecessary complexity. From the outset, the installation process was simple, with clear instructions that made the setup quick and hassle-free. Adjusting the windage and elevation settings allowed me to fine-tune my bow to an impressive degree of accuracy, noticeable both at the range and in the field. One feature that stood out was the cable-driven mechanism, which ensures that the arrow's rest drops away at the right moment, allowing the arrow to fly unobstructed. This feature provided a consistent flight path for my arrows, contributing significantly to my shooting precision.Durability is another aspect where the rest of this arrow shines. Despite the rigors of frequent use and the occasional brush with the elements, it has held up well, showing no signs of wear or malfunction. This resilience is essential for equipment in hunting scenarios, where reliability can make all the difference. While it excels in functionality and durability, the arrow rest has room for improvement. Adjusting the settings requires patience to perfect, and beginners might find this challenging. However, the performance is solid once the initial setup is dialed in.In terms of value, the SPG arrow rest is a solid investment for archers looking to enhance their shooting accuracy without breaking the bank. It strikes a good balance between quality and affordability, suitable for those serious about their archery but mindful of their budget. In closing, the SPG arrow rest is a reliable addition to any right-handed archer's setup. It enhances shooting accuracy through its precise adjustability and reliable performance. While it may require some patience to set up initially, the shot consistency and durability payoff are well worth the effort. Whether you're targeting the bullseye or the elusive game, this arrow rest is up to the task.
