It is made of durable cordura and neoprene. The SpiderPro Large Lens Pouch features a water resistant vertical zipper that runs down the middle. Where traditional lens pouches barely allow enough clearance to wrap your fingertips around the large diameter of the lens, the expandable mouth of the Spider Holster pouch enables you to comfortably reach all the way in and take a firm grip of the lens at the mid-section. This expandable zipper opening also allows for a much easier insertion of Pro lenses (like a 70-200mm) with the hood attached. This isn’t the easy run & gun accessory it’s advertising itself to be. It’s too tight. Difficult to use with two hands, let alone one. It doesn’t fit my Sony 70-200 GM with the hood on, so it’s basically useless as I have to take the hood off & on every time.The rear lens cap holder naturally falls inside the bag, so when swapping lenses, it usually blocks the lens from falling all the way in. I then have to pull out the lens again, dig out the cap, and put the lens back in. It’s not worth the effort.I literally spent my last event holding my lenses between my thighs, or putting them on the ground because this pouch was so infuriating.Oh and all this for a VERY premium price. I’d rather tie a grocery bag to my belt than use this again.

I just got my new lens pouch in the mail and I love it. I bought this to carry my Canon 70-200mm lens and I am very pleased with all of the different features that this pouch comes with. I love the water resistant cap on the and the zippered feature. This is a VERY tight fit for my lens and won't hold my lens hood so the zippered feature is a must. It makes accessing the lens so much easier. Being able to carry my lens on the holster belt instead of carrying an extra bag around makes it so much easier when I need to bring multiple lenses but don't want the hassle of carrying and extra bag.This is a must have accessory if you use the spider holster.

I like the concept of the bag, I just wish they made one that was a little smaller. I purchased this for my Tamron 24-70 2.8 lens, thinking that the medium would work with it. Unfortunately, even the flare hood attached, it's still a bit too large. Otherwise it's a great product and a great idea for a lens case. Just be aware that their definition of medium, in my opinion, is not really the case.

This case is exactly what I needed. Fits my Nikon 70-300 with no problems at all. Even when I have the lens hood on it still fits perfect. Would recommend this if you are looking for a case for a large lens. Was worried it wouldn't fit as all other reviews only said it fit 70-200mm.

Used it on a recent photojournalism trip to the Amazon. held my 70-200mm zoom lens securely and kept it out of the rain while my other lens was on my camera. It was easy to get the lens in and out of the pouch.

I needed to know about size (esp. diameter) before purchasing. For reference and convenience of others who may need this info, I find the following published specs for the lenses used as references in the listing:- Large pouch: Canon 70-200mm - the published dimension spec is 3.5 x 7.83” / 88.8 x 199mm;- Medium pouch: Canon 24-70 f2.8 - 113mm x 88.5mm / 4.4 in. x 3.5 inNot including a lens hood in either case I believe. Fwiw...I was/am looking for pouches for several common Sony lenses including- Sony 70-350 G which size is given as 3.03 x 5.59" / 77 x 142 mm - The medium pouch is too small, large seems a little big/tall for this lens- Sony 100-400mm 3.7 x 8.07" / 93.9 x 205 mm - It looks like the large pouch is not tall enough for this lensSo my take away is that neither of these would fit these Sony lenses well unfortunately, and I will look for some other belt mounted pouches. If you have other lenses, I recommend checking their sizes against the dimensions for the reference Canon lenses (above).To the manufacturer (if you happen to read this), I know it's not possible to please everyone and fit all lenses, but it seems to me that some other size(s) - e.g. particularly for some common Sony lenses? might be helpful, and an 'opportunity' to expand the customers served.

Good product.However, 70-200mm lens fits a little too snug & weather proof cover is a little flimsy…can be improved…overall I’m satisfied.

Strong pouch, the Velcro holds it very well. I feel quite safe with it on my Spider Holster and there is no way this will come off. The lens is well protected and the pouch even has a little rain hood. Highly recommend this product.

プライム利用で昨夜注文のこれをもう手にすることができ、室内でテスト使用してみました。やはり使い勝手を良く考えてありそうですね。スパイダープロと同様にやや値段が張りますけど、生産ロット数を推定すると仕方がないかな。スパイダープロの２台用と、このポーチと付属のモンキーを組み合わせて使用すると、本体２台にレンズ３～４本と他のアクセサリ１つを常時携帯可能で、カメラバッグ要らずですね。車で移動の撮影業務なら、カメラバッグは車に残し、装備だけ身につけて出られます。実はスパイダープロの２台セットも、つい先日に購入してレビューしたばかりなのですが、セール価格で提供いただいたベンダーさんうれしいですが、欠品の情報が増えたのは・・・と言う事で、ネットで見ていてやはり欲しくなったこのポーチも急遽購入することにしました。スパイダープロの２台用だと、右側のホルスターの前側につけることになりそう。70-200を入れて歩いてみて、腿に当たりはしますが歩きづらいまではいかなくて、良いですね。レンズ３～４本で70-200と24-70の入れ替え使用が必要な場合にかなり重宝しそうです。レンズのマウントキャップのベルクロパッド使用のホルダーもいいですね。欲を言えば、自分で両面テープを貼れば使える予備のベルクロパッドがあるともっとうれしいです。まあそれは、別途調達して切った貼ったすればいい事ですけどね。スパイダーモンキーは、まだ実装と実稼動条件でテストしてみてはいませんが・・・レンズ以外の小型アクセサリの持ち歩きが必要な場合に重宝しそうです。このスパイダーモンキーは複数あるとそこそこ便利そうですが、本家のＨＰでも見当たりませんね。自分はとりあえず１つあれば大丈夫そうですが、念のため予備も欲しいのは職業病かも。

動画で紹介されている３個の「 Spider Monkey 」が１個しか入ってなく、ペットボトルの入れ物がどこにも見当たりません。小型レンズも入りそうなので是非欲しいのですが、同梱されていないし、検索しても「 Spider Mokey 」なる商品が見つかりません！！！　何故？？？
