Slightly larger than some similar products which is better as the child gets a bit older-the spills go wider, and sometimes are tossed. Having a blank, solid color might help this in some instances since some older highchair riders sometimes think it is funny to "splat" onto a critter or character on mats than look more fun and attract their attention. I got this to protect the carpets in particular at step-father's house when his younger grandkids, neices or nephews come for get-togethers- they can get rather sloppy, he gets a little upset and we get tired of cleaning it up. I intend to keep it in my control lest it go astray and figuring if they were given to the indivituals with kids, they most likely would forget to bring them next visit and there we would be, back to messy floors. I would like it if there had been other colors as plain grey is really drab, but I guess it goes ok with most other colors, and that is not the point so much as saving the rug and our work to clean messes. It stays in place fairly well although it does move a wee bit and create a little wrinkling. I guess all rugs of all kinds travel at least a little. For the most part this one behaves ok.I also intend to use it as a picnic blanket after we get out of the rainy season, and I think it will do well for that in the lawn or at the park or beach.

I ordered this to cover a large section of our carpet while we train our puppy. We had some disposable wee-wee pads down but she’s in her biting everything faze and would rip them up and I was afraid she would ingest them so I was looking for some alternatives. It feels like the material used for a typical raincoat and the back side has lil silicone grippy dots for hardwood flooring so it doesn’t slide. Since we use it on the carpet the dots don’t have anything to grab onto so the mat does slide from time to time when we step on it, but that’s ok for us. We don’t plan on having to use this forever just until she is fully potty trained.I’ve already washed it a couple of times and it’s seems to be very durable. It’s so lightweight and compact it takes up as much space as an average pillow case in the linen closet. When my pup had an accident the pee sits right on top of the fabric and gives me time to clean with a paper towel and wash the mat.So far it has protected my carpet beautifully. There haven’t been any leaks. This being a great multi-use product.

This mat works as expected. It is very thin, just 2 layers of fabric, and this causes it to bunch up easily so it could become a tripping hazard if left under the high chair. If removed or folded out of the way when not in use I imagine it would be fine. It's been waterproof for the small amount of things spilled on it so far but I'm not sure I'd trust it with a BIG spill like a full cup of liquid. Also very easily washable which is a huge plus!

The splat mat is a good size, and folds up easily for storage. The fabric of the top side is easy to clean, and tends to resist most spills. The bottom has non-slip silicon dots that keep the mat in place whether on carpet or hard surfaces. We are very happy with it.

The mat is very lightweight. Material is soft and has a nice feel to it. Easy to clean up on spills or general waterproof mat.But I did find the mat hard to work with. As you can see, the lightweight has its downsides. It does not lay flat as any of the product pictures that was portrayed. Sure I can lay it down on a hard wood floor, but then I can easily wipe spills up on wood floors without this mat. I put this on my carpet and a hard rug. You can see how it creases easily that a spill can eventually leak to the carpet. Same with the office chair to simulate a chair/high chair that will just crease up the mat.The anti slip is there and works if the mat stays flat. It would stay in place better on hard floors, but then again, I would prob not need a mat on hard floors.Overall, the material is nice and soft, but probably will repurpose this as a car bench mat to keep my seats pet hair free. That would come in handy after a dog park day where their paws are dusty and muddy. Easy cover up and take down.

I got this splat mat for indoor water play, slime bubble machine and for arts and crafts (mainly for painting). I like that the grey option as it’s not babyish and very neutral. It’s a good size, waterproof and anti slip which is good for not only spills but to help keep the mess on the may versus the floor, especially when dealing with the more watery slime (and we have a bubble slime kit which is fun but makes quite the mess). This is supposed to be machine washable, which is a must have feature in order to be considered reusable. We haven’t but it in the washer yet, but I will update my review if we have any issues.

I no longer have babies in high chairs. I got this to protect the back of my new Honda CR-V when I transport something that could mess up or be messy in the back cargo area. Yes, I have all weather mat in the back, but this is much easier to lay down, pull out, and toss in the washing machine. Could work as impromptu ground cover if you have to check under your car, picnic blanket in grass that may be a bit damp, changing a flat tire (though not on a Honda hybrid as they don't have one) or what have you.

My vehicle is configured for my dog. The whole rear is hers…seat backs permanently down, lots of blankets, etc., so effectively, my car is a two-seater.However, I needed something to use on the back seat of my husband’s car to protect his seats, when I need to use it. Dog goes everywhere with me, of course. This washable mat is great. It’s got the non slid side, to keep the mat on the seat (towels just don’t work…end up on the floor…), and is easily transported and washed. Dog does fine on it.Just what I needed.
