Previously I'd been using the splatter screens that were made out of metal and were truly screens. They always got stained as grease got baked on over time, were hard to clean, hard to store and started coming apart after a couple of months of twice weekly use. This product has appeared to solve all of the foregoing issues. The silicon is easy to wash in the sink, or in the dishwasher, so there is no baked-on grease. It folds in half, and the handle folds in, so it's easy to store. Due to its diameter, you'll need to put it in the side of your dishwasher and it will help to put a dinner plate in the next slot. The product seems incredibly durable and shows no signs of wear after using it for several months. The holes are much less numerous than on the metal ones, so significantly less splatter escapes. I also like that it helps keep heat in the skillet, so I can easy fry sunny-side-eggs without doing anything else to make sure they are fully cooked.

I like this spatter screen because it’s much easier to store in the cabinet. Does a good job of protecting the stove top and counters from mess. It’s a little floppy due to the way it folds. Very easy to wash in the dishwasher. Fits in there better than the non-folding screens.

It's kind of flimsy. If the pans just not the right size, it'll fall in when you flip the screen back the other half's in the way it does fold to put away so that's nice. It is easy to clean. I don't like that I can't see my food when it's cooking though.

I love it.Some reviews said it was too floppy, which I understand, but it didn't bother me. What they are referring to is the hinge in the center is really bounce, IF you bounce it. If you just lay it on the pan like normal it works great. The springiness of it didn't bother me.

I've wanted one of these for a while and am glad I found this one. It stores easily and works well. Being able to open half the pan contains more of the spatters that usually get on the stove top.

I purchased this for its ability to fold and store compactly and it does that great.Used it on some bacon on the camp stove and it stopped the mess I usually have. Easy to clean after as well.
