I feel like this thing has already paid for itself in time saved not having to clean my stove and backsplash. Functions flawlessly. Does an excellent job of retaining the splatters, and dissipating heat. The stainless steel cleansing up easy. Looks great, and isn't super thick or heavy! Definitely an essential piece of complementary gear around the kitchen

I love this thing! It prevents grease splatter from things like bacon or a cast iron cooked steak so well! Some others complained about steam buildup under the guard itself which does happen. However I’ve found that if you don’t lift it off excessively, that steam stays right on the guard itself. And upon lifting if you give it a quick spin upside down you can prevent most of that moisture from dripping down on your food. I also find the steam can actually be helpful for developing a crispy exterior on certain foods. So it may be helpful to research what you’re cooking/methods to acquire the desired results. This pops in the dishwasher and comes out great and clean every single time! I love the size of it as well because it can cover even my largest size skillets! I do wish the handle was a smidge longer but that’s not a big deal for me. Also good to note, the silicone is quite thin, so don’t go poking at it with sharp utensils or scissors. That being said, ours has NOT ripped or anything and still remains durable even though it appears like it wouldn’t. But I do imagine a snip with scissors or a knife could easily cut it so use some caution in that sense. I would definitely buy this for someone else or even myself to have a second one!

Silicone screen is rust proof. It should last longer than older screens that used the same type of wire screen you would find on a screen door. Screen is reversible. Each side has 4 nubs/feet that raise it slightly above your pan. Fits pans up to 12 1/2†diameter. Heat resistant, easy to clean by hand or in dishwasher.

Love how big the screen is. Works great for cooking with oil. Some splatters do come thru the small holes but not beat as it would without it. Easy to hold and easy to clean. Pretty happy with my purchase.

Typically these screens bend from the heat but so far this has has stayed nice and solid. Easy sponge and dish soap clean up

Okay so I used to have one that was made out of screen material. Know what I mean? That thing was hard to clean and too big.I'm so glad I ordered this one. It's much better quality than the old style and works even better. This is the perfect size and I just store it right on top of my frying pans in my cabinet and it fits perfectly.

I used it to reduce spaghetti sauce. It stopped the bubbles from splattering out but most of the steam condensed on the bottom and dripped back into the sauce, increasing the cook time.It's quick and easy to clean.
