It does what it claims. It is true the zipper is very cheap and the material is very thin. But it packs down small, is bright orange, waterproof, has a hood and pockets. That's what I needed.

I liked everything about this coat except for the length of the sleeves, which were short for my arms. For those with shorter arms it may be a great match. I ordered a Large, and the tag shows a US Large, but based upon the confusing sizing chart (Brand Size L = USA M), I'm not sure what I really got. For me the stated sleeve length, 25.7", would typically be plenty, but these are not. Like all sleeve measurements it is important where the shoulder measurement starts. I should have returned it for the next size up (too late). I recommend making sure you like the sizing when you get it, and return it for another size if you don't.

Although advertised as waterproof it was water resistant. I wore this in a constant rain for about an hour & my shirt underneath was soaked. Secondly ever zipper either stuck and the one on the pouch even broke when I tried to open it. Definitely not worth it

Upon receipt and inspection found defective zipper and soiled product. Return requested same day for replacement. Replacement was sent WITHOUT storage pouch so had to REOPEN Return box and kept pouch of original shipment. Product is ok but lot of unnecessary trouble trying to correct issue.

First I feel like this is an Asian size product and large which usually fits me fine is so small it won't zip up. Also I bought this to replace an LL Bean jacket that fell apart after 15 plus years and the quality of manufacture is not even close to the same, the zipper is cheap and looks like it will break easily etc.

It will do has an occasional rain jacket or when windy. The zips have very small teeth and stitching doesn't look heavy duty, so this wouldn't be my first choice as a permanent daily coat It's very light weight.If its important to you the main zip is the female orientation even though it says male on the order.I usually buy medium clothes but I have long arms so got a large. Fits me fine and I didn't want a tight jacket.
