This shirt is extremely good quality and texture, especially for the price.

First item of note = pay close attention to the size chart. It runs VERY small (I think this is the smallest XXL I've seen...I ended up needing to pass it down to my son). The fabric is lightweight, inexpensive costume material so be careful in handling and it should be able to last numerous seasons. The look and styling of the shirt is great. The overall presentation is nice. The laces look good and the seams and cut is good.Overall this is a great costume option for the price.

Bought this for my husband to wear to ren fest, and it fit him great. No problems bending his shoulders since his are kinda wide, it’s not too heavy, and he said he stayed cool the whole day.

Normally wear a 2x shirt which is typically baggy. This was skin tight. Looks like a quality shirt otherwise

Order bigger if you have muscular arms. Good quality material.

This is a decent costume shirt, but does have some shortcomings. The size per their chart is good. I wear a 44 jacket, and their XL is a good fit for me... not too loose or too tight. Do note that the material is polyester, not linen (flax, a natural fiber). as noted in the leading product description. The slightly rough weave and finish of the fabric does help to give it a sort of home-spun appearance, as does the beige color that I chose. The shirt can be worn for various costumes...medieval, Scottish, Viking, colonial etc.., but has some features that keep it from being as effective as it could be. One is the laces, which are OK, but essentially just heavy string the same color as the fabric, and don't add much to the style. Replacing them with a somewhat darker cord, preferably leather (real or faux) would give a better look, in my opinion, and is easy enough to do. Use boot laces, or get some cord at a fabric or hobbie supply store. (I show some black leather cord lying against it, but will use a light brown, I think. The shortcoming that isn't easily curable is the shiny steel grommets for the laces. These don't seem period at all, and brass-tone, or at least dark colored ones, would look more authentic. Even just a sewn buttonhole might look better. Maybe I can think of some method of dealing with this...light sanding to reduce the shine? One small bonus is that the shirt comes in a heavy plastic envelope with a resealable snap closure, so it can be stored back in that when not needed.

Nice shirt with some detailing (like the lacing at the cuffs - see photo). The XL is a bit tight and would benefit from a bit more fabric to get the flow usually found in a style like this. The quality is OK for a costume shirt (a little thin in my opinion). But for a costume this is fine.Overall, not bad for the price, and I would recommend to others.ðŸ‘

Hi, I bought this for a costume but wanted to be able to use it regularly. I thought the shirt was in men’s sizes so I bought a L for a flowy fit and was disappointed to find that it was tight on me! I am a women’s large for reference. The fit is not flattering and the material has absolutely no stretch at all, it is very stiff and restrictive. I am returning and buy a different product all together. If you insist on buying this, order 2 sizes larger.
