I own 13 of these flasks. Very sturdy and a very convenient shape for carrying inside a coat in very cold weather. I use these flasks for storing and transporting methanol (denatured alcohol) for my alcohol cooking burners used when camping. The only complaint that I have is that the original caps for all the flasks utilize a flimsy cardboard and foil seal that will eventually begin leaking. I have solved that by using the pop open lids from ordinary rubbing alcohol and peroxide bottles. Those lids never leak and allow me to squirt a small and precise stream of methanol when filling my alcohol burners to heat my meals. (see photo of the replacement caps I am using). Any sturdy 20mm plastic cap will work as well and be much less likely to leak than the original caps. It is an easy fix to the leaking cap problem and has worked perfectly over the past several years for me and my friends. Too bad these otherwise perfect flasks need a backyard fix like this to bring them to perfection as methanol fuel containers. Other users may not experience this problem at all depending on the liquids they are storing in these flasks. Overall I am very pleased and have not found anything better for this purpose during the last 20 years. The flaskes hold about 17 oz of methanol (515 ml of water). Thanks for a great product and very fast delivery.

I've been using this for 6 years to bring alcohol where I'm not allowed to have alcohol, and I don't even know how many hundreds of dollars in drinks it's saved me. I only wish there was a smaller version, since I don't really need 16 drinks at every event I go to, and it would be easier to bring in at half the size, but it's still a great product that has not let me down yet!

We were looking for a titanium flask for hiking and came across this pilot flask. It’s super light at 2 oz., carries 16 oz. of liquid which more than double of most, very durable thick material, no leaks so far, packs well, and made in the USA. Perfect for hiking and the outdoors.

Bottom line: It's useful because of its shape, as it fits in a pocket (a large one) but it's still just a cheap plastic bottle that costs less than $1 to make. It should at least have a lock to prevent losing the cap. Well, it's been useful to me, but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it again.

This was the perfect flask to tuck away and use for those special occasions. Durable and all plastic. Some of the other options had a metal top but I did not want this and the size is perfect. Good choice and highly recommend durable. I ordered these previously and after one use had to throw them away because the venue would not allow them inside. However, I decided to repurchase because of the value and durability. Great investment!

After washing my flask I did a quick test, pouring some whiskey in and drinking after four hours. It strongly affected the taste like plastic. The construction is poor, with seams protruding. Immediately returned and I got a plastic bottle full of whiskey at the liquor store for the same price.

I so wanted this to work that I ignored the reviewers who said it leaked. And sure enough, so did this one. It's a design flaw that causes it - the cap is too short so doesn't have enough threads to seal it properly. Really frustrating but yup, like everyone else, I returned it.Don't be like me. Just don't bother with this one until they redesign the cap.
