Follower body was drilled off center-line causing plunger to jam.Using this tool in manufacturing would case the feature made by it to be inaccurate due to the off center-line construction of it. Especially if you located it use a DRO. But even if you located it manually, it would still be off because the plunger had run-out too.TOTAL GARBAGE.

A bit crunchy in the sliding action, even after taking it apart, cleaning and lubing. Also a bit of what I consider excessive play between the body and pin. It was cheap enough though and is better than nothing.

I’m a machinist. I needed a backup. The guide and spring are not smooth. The guide wants to stick. It also has a very hard spring.Compared to my Mitatoyo, it kind of really sucks.It’s just not worth it. Now, if this is all you can get, it’s better than nothing and you can limp by with it.If I was only going to use this once, it would be fine.

Just received it, so not used it yet.However, on visual inspection, I have to say I'm very impressed.Good surface finish, parallel body, tight tolerances (no noticeable lateral movement in the pointer), and a nice strong spring.Cannot fault it.
