Haven’t had an incident to report on the efficacy of this product, but I put it on my 4 yo son’s brand new “big boy bed†(a full size mattress) today. I was impressed by how well it fit on a 10†mattress and can see it fitting a 12†one easily. It was nice and soft, so I don’t worry about uncomfortable crinkling and crunching while he sleeps. The material is fairly slick, so I’m hoping that means it will be liquid resistant as we are still in the throes of potty training. My only concern is that it isn’t very thick, so any liquids spilled may puddle and create a bigger mess. Will update only if an accident happens and has unfortunate consequences.

I got this for my child’s bed and it totally protects the mattress from spilled water bottles, bed wetting and throw up. It’s easy to wash and put back on the bed. It’s not thick at all, so not meant for padding, so I add another thick pad underneath.
Not very good material. Looks really cheap.
