The colder weather invites warm clothing options. The Spyder sweater is a nice sweater to take the edge off the chill.The waffle-like pattern is attractive. The fit and finish is nice. One observation is there were several threads that just needed a little trimming to make it all good.It washes nicely and fits as it should for the size. The collar is high enough to help with chill without being too high. The sleeves are comfortable and have a nice capped end.The color is more of a dark charcoal than black, but I like it. As soon as the lighter grey one is back in stock, I'll likely get one.

My son is an avid snowboarder and is very familiar with the Spyder brand. The quality of the tailoring is excellent. This is soft flexible fabric that is true-to-size. When out snowboarding it is important to be dressed in layers for proper cold protection. This is a great under layer and then perfect for time in the lounge when you come off the mountain.
