These are extremely comfortable. The quality seems to be up there. I had no problem wearing these as my first layer going snowboarding on the East Coast. They fit true to size and are very light. Kept me warm in cold temperatures(9*F) while snowboarding with only a sweater and a jacket on top.

So warm and cozy and low cost for the brand! Fit my XL husband perfectly, he loves them.

right out of the bag, I like the way these feel. The pants and shirt are soft, warm, and comfortable. The shirt is longer than I prefer, but I guess it's supposed to be tucked in? It is long untucked, so I would only wear it tucked in, no big deal, but I don't tuck in my sleep or base layers. The pants fit great, like the thick elastic band and they definitely got my legs warmed up under just one light, fleece blanket. As a set, I can imagine being very warm and toasty under one or two blankets!

Comfy & perfect for layering while working outdoors. Not too bulky

Perfect base layer. Thin but fleece lined to trap heat. Enough stretch to be comfortable but huggably tight to keep in warmth. The thick elastic waistband easily keeps my top layer tucked in. Spyder's fleece is slightly softer and more spandex-y than ThermaJohns. I prefer Spyder for outdoor activity.

These are great. I wear these and a pair of mid weight joggers and a mid weight pullover on runs in 20 degree F weather. I wore them on a day with a 7 degree wind chill and was wishing I had a bit more on, but still completed a 30 minute run and wasn’t too miserably cold. They seem to wick moisture pretty decent. I am pretty satisfied with these. Anything less than 20 degrees I’d probably go with a heavy grid fleece base layer or something like that but 20+ degrees these are great with the necessary layering.

Having used Spider brand Boxer Briefs for years, it only made sense to try out their base layer stuff when I lost my Polartech base layer stuff. As soon as I opened the package I noticed a difference from my old polartech stuff. The Spider base layer had some weight to it, but not as much as an insulated base layer set. It's very comfortable and soft.It does run a bit large tho, but it may shrink up after a hot washI am 5'-9" tall and 180lbs so I wear large in everything, but a medium would have given the fit that's really ideal for a base layer. The Top : Very comfortable, the sleeves are adequate length, and the length of the top actually hangs about 6" below my waist, and fits loose in the chest..I wear a 42R jacket I believe. The bottoms : comfortable : elastic is smooth and not tight, length is good for a 5'-9" tall man.
