2 pole, 2 wire, 240 Volts AC, rated 10 HP. Compact, for use with 75 degree Celsius wire. Advanced design with reliable, quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism. Suitable for use on systems with up to 10,000 RMS symmetrical amps available fault currentat 240 Volts AC max when protected by a fuse or circuit breaker rated 60 amps or less. Does not contain overcurrent protection. No.PKHB bracket for stucco, aluminum and vinyl siding sold separately. Ground bar bonded to back. U.L. Listed.

Double pole switch works good for wiring hot and neutral. Unit could be used with double pole 240 if the grounding bar is used as the neutral bus, but it is labeled for grounding, suggesting unit is made for 120 VAC service. Very convenient to wire - cover for the front and sides comes off in one piece for easy access to the terminals. Positive action switch needs good effort to move the switch on or off, no chance of moving the switch by simply brushing your hand over the switch. Switch toggle is up high in the box, so you really have to lift the (lockable) cover and reach up to get at the switch. The switch looks like, and is wired like circuit breaker, but it is only a switch.

This is no joke ,This has some weight to it and it’s straight forward and easy to use . Used for my pool heat pump.

This disconnect switch works as it should for my outdoor hot tub setup. It’s straightforward and does the job reliably.

Instead of the usual HVAC disconnect with a pullout, this one features a QO style switch. So much easier to use and no pullout to lose. If you needed, you could replace the switch with a QO breaker - like to downsize a 50A circuit to a 30A for a high-efficiency A/C. This model seems to have replaced the old style which had a plastic case. That makes it heavier duty, but no longer corrosion proof. Still, it’s a great disconnect.

This is a no frills box, as straightforward as it gets. I was using 6/3 and had to make the hole on bottom bigger to accommodate 1.25" pipe. The box is on the small side but everything fit in there no problem, and the breaker works fine.
