Square D products are excellent quality. Be aware that there are 2 designs for Square breakers... HOM and QO. You will need to check the label on your breaker box to know which one to get. (They are NOT interchangeable.) For this 40 amp breaker, check your code requirements! Normally, not to be used for a standard circuit (lights or outlets). I have a shed that needs one 120volt circuit. This will protect the circuit to the sub panel. Also, remember that on a sub-panel, you must separate the ground and neutral in the box.
