I had to very slightly bend the end tabs to get it to lay perfectly flat. Had it on in 15 minutes.

I've used this exact model interlock before with no trouble but for some reason this one wouldn't work right. Used on a 100A, Square D sub-panel to interlock two double pole QO series breakers. The attachment fit onto the breaker perfectly *but* would not allow either breaker to turn on. Unfortunately, I needed it immediately so ended up grinding down both tabs on the interlock arm which made it work as intended.

Hard to work. Had to finally just remember to turn off main before activating the generator side.
