Designed for reliability, the QO Plug-on Neutral CAFI Circuit Breaker connects directly to the neutral bar, providing a time and labor-saving installation. Like the non-pigtail that worked for my panel. Very neat and orderly looking under the panel cover. Easy to install and easy to test!

Received the items in their original unopened packaging. Very good price for something that can prevent a fire in your home.

This would have been easy to install, and it would have been a nice value.... however, I screwed up and ordered the wrong product. The good news is that the return process was quick and simple.

I upgraded the load center in our new house with a 200A Square D center that accepts breakers with plug-on neutrals. Since I used Square D CAFCI and GFCI/CAFCI on EVERY circuit in the LC, the plug-on neutral results in less wiring and a much neater panel. Between the plug-on neutral and the "tripped" flag, they are just about as good as a breaker can be.

Building a retirement home and suddenly discovering that to meet NEC code my budget for breakers went from about $300 (30 @ $10/ea.) to about $1260 (30 @ $42/ea. a with bulk discount) was not great and meant postponing other smaller parts of the project, we are trying to not use credit. Finding these were a BIG deal at about $28 ea. or $840 for 30. (I am being a little generic as the home requires both 15 and 20 amp AFCI breakers, and wet areas require AFCI/GFI breakers.)Total number of breakers not counting Cooling/Heating systems, stove, dryer, etc. is about 30 AFCI breakers.)Note that they still sell non-AFCI breakers as NEC allows them in businesses, but not homes.I bought 3, 15 amp AFCIs from Home Depot and 3 from Amz and compared them. I could not find anything that made me doubt these were authentic, but I am still keeping an eye on them and will update if these do not perform as well as their more expensive non-Amazon versions. Cheers.

As new codes are requiring these type of breakers, get the best and avoid issues.
