When a QO Visi-Trip circuit breaker trips, the handle snaps to a midpoint position between in OFF and in ON and a highly visible, red indicator easily identifies the tripped breaker. This enables you to easily distinguish which breaker has tripped in a load center that may contain up to 42 different circuit breakers. Square D products are excellent quality. Be aware that there are 2 designs for Square breakers... HOM and QO. You will need to check the label on your breaker box to know which one to get. (They are NOT interchangeable.) For this 20 amp breaker, be sure to use 12 ga or thicker wire.For most wiring circuits in bathrooms, outdoor or kitchens I prefer to use a breaker version of GFC than the plugs.
