My previous mat was foamy, which meant it absorbed conditioner and soap and became a slippery mess quickly. I got this one because it's looser plasticky design wouldn't suffer from that issue much as it's better at self-draining. The prior one had suction cups on the bottom which were too large to adhere to the tiny bathroom tiles so the rug slipped significantly sometimes. This one is covered on the bottom with a somewhat grippy net; I wouldn't trust an 80-year old fragile granny to it but it's been reasonably secure during my use--it has slipped a bit but not a significant distance so it's unlikely I'd fall from that.Bonus points: they included the circular cutout which I'm using as a matching water-draining soap dish.Minus points: they packaged it somewhat crumpled and even after two weeks it hasn't flattened out. I think I should've put heavy stuff on it on a flat surface for a few days before deploying it to bathroom duty.It measures slightly under the listed dimension, at about 23 1/4".

Can I give this more than 5 stars?I love this. It fit perfectly in my shower and is very comfortable to stand on. Plus, it acts as a loofah on the bottoms of your feet and removes the slippy feeling in your shower. My only concern is going to be how long it will last because of water mold and/or sulfates in shampoos and soaps. I suspect that I will have to soon run my pressure sprayer over it to clean.Otherwise, super happy with this. My old man feet are now as soft as a babies bottom.
