Bought this for our stand alone shower. Really like the fact that it is one piece makes it more stable and I'm less likely to slip and fall. It feels like you are standing on a loofah. It's not uncomfortable just took a couple of showers to get use to it.

I was happy to find a bigger size mat. The one I had before had to have fillers. This covers the whole floor. I thought it would be rough on my feet but it is not

This is a great shower mat for the elderly. My husband is 97 and is very careful to avoid any falls. The mats available locally just do not fit a shower floor completely and elderly people take small steps. This mat which can be ordered in different sizes covers all my shower floor. My husband knows he will not slip. He never touches the floor on the shower. Wish I had found this long ago. A must for all people afraid to fall. Material is great....easy to rinse, clean and drip dry.
