I bought the Strat also and had to do the same with fret sprout on the Tele. It’s great now.Although the Tele is quiet (no hum) I still will copper line the cavities. For the price it’s great. I’m thinking the use of Poplar and thinner size works quite well as its sustain is great.I’m still learning but I took the opportunity to buy both offered by Amazon.I love it/them.

Guitars incredible for the money and I think just in general. I am a professional full-time guitarist and for some reason I like these cheaper squire Sonic and classic vibe guitars more than expensive American guitars. I'm sure the Americans have fancier finish and look prettier and whatnot, but I don't care about that stuff. I also like these cheaper guitars because they are much lighter in weight, which I prefer. I was very surprised about how good the pickup sound. Also, I have bought other squire sonics I liked them very much but they did need a little help with the fret ends being sharp. For some reason this one was just about perfect out of the box.

Plays nice, looks nice. Very affordable! I love the Torino red color and I’m glad that they took extra care when packaging it up for shipping. Bubble wrap, styrofoam and a sturdy box.

I was skeptical until the guitar arrived in perfect shape ready to play. Amazing tone and feel...classic Tele sound. Fretboard very smooth ...guitar plays like butter...ran it thru a Fender amp and I was in Fender heaven. A great replacement of not better guitar than my 80's strat....plays just like it in many ways. Love that guitar is light as a feather...fits my body size perfectly...I am in â¤ï¸.

This is an inexpensive model that fits well into learning to play electric guitar and provides a lower cost opportunity to add and test 3rd party attachments. So far it has sounded pretty good with an "old folks garage band".

I tried out some sub-hundred dollar Telecaster copies, Glarry and a few other knockoffs, but I have some history with Fender, having purchased a 1966 Fender Mustang in the mid-70's as my first "real" guitar as a kid, so I eventually decided to fork out the extra hundred bucks and change for the Fender quality and name. Boy, did I ever make the right decision. This guitar is awesome. It was well packed and set up perfectly right out of the box. I own a 1999 Mexican made Stratocaster and a 2024 Fender Sonic Stratocaster as well, but I wanted a Telecaster for its signature Tele twang and bite. This beautiful butterscotch Telecaster with blonde maple fingerboard delivers in spade. It feels terrific and it plays exquisitely. Great job, Fender.UPDATE: I was offered the Glarry GTL tele replica for $50 by an EBay seller and I couldn't resist. I bought that one, too. It's a surprisingly great guitar. The finish is beautiful, just like the Fender and the maple neck is as straight as can be, though a bit thick. It sounds awesome and plays beautifully. I was going to replace the bridge pickup until I opened up the Fender and saw that both guitars have the same ceramic pickup. I replaced the old style tele bridge with a $10 modern telecaster bridge, so I can tune each saddle individually and I did order a telecaster replacement neck for $35. I now have an exact twin for my Fender Sonic Tele, with one exception: the Glarry body is made of Basswood, which is a lot lighter than the Maple/Poplar body on the Fender, so, even though they look the same, the Glarry is quite a bit lighter. I've ended up spending under $100 total for the Glarry, plus parts, to get the guitar that I wanted, but I had to expend quite a bit of time to get there. I easily did over $100 worth of work on it, so I still have NO regrets about buying the Fender Sonic for $199 as it was great right out of the box. If I ever purchase another telecaster, it will be a Fender.

Something was wrong with the relationship between the strings and the pickups. The D string played much louder than the rest of the strings and the A string was unusually quiet. In other words, the volume of the strings was terribly uneven. I sent it back and ordered another one, that one had defective tuners, they would not maintain tension and kept slipping out of tune. Returned that one also. Probably the best one can do is to buy from a music store where one can try the instrument out and have the store correct and problems. Perhaps this is wishful thinking. I would have expected more from a highly rated guitar manufacturer like Fender. Even for the least expensive model.

The Sonic Series is way better than before, Super Straight neck. Great tuner( real one), who stay tuned at 100%Awesome Pick up, they are Ceramic Single coil with double blade magnet @ Neck 7.44 K Ohm and Bridge @ 7.01 K Ohm.I love the Tone and Power of Ceramic Pickups, Some people think Alnico Pickups are better, but its a myth, they are great Pickups for clean and Dirty Tone.Guitar body already Shield, see picture another big plus.Even the Basic 6 Strings are good, you don't need to change it Right away.Electronic are ALPHA Switch see picture and Pots (Volume+ Tone) they work smooth and clean and the Output Jack too! Conclusion: Great guitar, probably my best so far, Perfect Paint job, No Fret buzz, No sharp Fret, Ready to play, you will just need to adjust the strings height the way you like it and a little of intonations, that's it.Message for the people who complain, you are totally out of your Track, this Guitar is a GEM.Do not hesitate, great quality product with a nice finish. you will have it for Long Time.Thank you Squier another GREAT Quality product AgainIndonesia know how to build great guitar.
