This climbing rope is very well constructed and a lot of fun for my son. I will have to wait and see how long it holds up under the different seasons and weather conditions. I say this because it is made of a nylon type rope. The rope is not real rope. It is easy cut and possibly frayed (I have not tried either because I do not want to jeopardize the integrity of the rope). The steps are plastic, and again, I will have to see how they hold up over time. However, with kids using it, it is safer to construct the black separator steps with plastic. The only substitute for the plastic I can thing of would be rubber. Over all I'm very happy with this purchase and the price we paid for it (we bought it on a Deal of The Day).

My kids have liked this climbing rope a lot! The black discs are a great help to my younger kiddos when they to climb up/down. They also are able to use this as a swing!

during our time in quarantine flash home shelter for COVID-19 pandemic like most parents I was looking for things to do with my children particularly ways for them to get their energy out. Was able to get this rope and hang it and it provided hours of fun for my kids. I highly recommend this product.

It is good for children under 4ft 5 in to learn how to climb a rope, but really needs to be longer and have a tie- down at the bottom to be truly accessible for larger children needing to learn to climb a rope for gym class. The children prefer to use it to climb up a slide and not as I had intended.

We bought this on Prime Day. Our friends had one and they zipped to the top like it was nothing, but my kids, same ages 5 and 7, could barely climb up two pegs and we're afraid to go any higher. So I bought it, hoping my kids would gain some confidence and strength. Within a week both my kids were climbing to the top, asking me to pull them so they could swing while sitting on top peg. They were beyond proud of themselves, as was mom and dad. There is always a line when friends are over to use the rope swing, always. Ours is hanging from a branch about 18 feet up and we have a nice open area for the kids to swing. Totally worth it!

Initially I was very happy with the product, but in three months the platform to hold has broken. Quality of the product is not good.

poor quality,the black foot holders are of plastic hence poor grip
