My STIHL BR430 ran pretty rough and was hard to start. I ordered this carburetor kit mainly because of the low price. I’m definitely happy with the purchase. It was WAY cheaper than a carburetor through the STIHL dealership. All of the extras they include with the carburetor work like they should if you choose to use them. I personally just put them in the toolbox for later on if and when I need to replace one of the items. Installing the carburetor was extremely easy. I didn’t have to modify anything to make it fit or work. I literally just swapped this new replacement carburetor with the factory one that came on it, filled the blower up with fresh fuel and cranked it right up. The blower runs perfectly and I did not have to tune anything at all. The carburetor was set up perfectly right out of the box. I can’t think of any reason at all that you shouldn’t give this carburetor a try if your in need of one for your STIHL Blower.
