DMWD Low cost single phase solid state relay SSR-40DA

Input voltage 3-32V DC

Load voltage 24-380V AC

Load current 40Amp

40A 3-32V DC to AC solid state relay (SSR) features high structural strength, good impact resistance, and strong shock resistance. The SSR offers a reliable switching the commercial and industrial loads, such as computer peripheral interface device, printing machine, molding machine, food machine, packaging machine, and so on.

  • Built in RC absorption
  • Photoelectric isolation
  • SCR output
  • LED indicator for operation status
  • Panel mount
  • Zero-crossing switch type
  • UL Approved, CE Compliant to EN60950-1

Note:

* When the load current is higher than 10A, a heat sink must be installed to the solid state relay, or the SSR relay should be mounted on a metal base plate with heat dissipation effect, and the thermal grease is applied between them.

* When the load current is 40A or more, a fan cooling radiator or water cooling radiator must be equipped.

* Heat sink is included.

Installed it on my 3D printer to drive a new Heated-bed and it could handle the load with no problem

Works as intended. I use it around 12A and the heat sink gets warm to the touch after 20-30 min of use so take their advice seriously about the heat sink.

Using for a 3d printer heated bed and for a chamber heater. Low level trigger of 3.3v of big tree tech mcu board.Only using 10 of the rated 40 amps, keeps me in the 1/4 utilization window that makes sense for the printers duty cycle.

I bought one - It wouldn't work for my project because when the relay was activated, closing the "Contacts" it had a high resistance and would't turn on the device (Dust Collector). Returned it to get another one, and also purchased a third just in case - Same issue on all. Pretty much a waste of my money and time.

used on a 30amp circuit, on for 10 to 12 hours straight... doesn't get too hot like the one it replaced. plan on buying 3 more to replace the other relays.
