seems to work very well. so much cheaper than 3m. 3m might have gold dust embedded in theirs with their incredibly high price.

I normally use hard stones for my deburring. This one was an experiment to get a better finish.It does that, but it also wears out way quicker than I'd like.As part of a two-wheel setup, it's nice to have. Hard stone to shape, this wheel to smooth. A bit pricey for what it is, though. Still trying to figure out a use case that might make the price reasonable.Mostly, I'd say go with a cheaper basic wheel.

I needed a wheel for deburring metal, and found this. Cutting metal with saws and such, or even drilling holes, burrs are inevitable, and there aren't a lot of ways to remove them short of a grinder, especially if they're a larger size. This makes quick work of them, removing those pieces quickly without affecting the metal otherwise. I compare these types of wheels to abrasive erasers if you're familiar with those (they're actually a thing), where it's a sort of soft, rubbery feel, but still a solid piece, somewhere in between. As you run your finger across it, feels lightly abrasive. These tend to wear quickly, but that's by design. I like this, and next time will get the 1" or even 3" version. The 1/2" seems a little narrow for anything substantial.
