Pretty solid and great idea. Only gripe with these is there's a lot of play between it and my 1/4 drive bit, will also pull off if I reverse too fast. I drill/tap a lot of holes at work (with company supplied taps) so probably way more aggressive then the average user. Will get a newer more high quality 1/4 drive bit so should be better. Still very happy with these and like how versatile they are, can use 1/4 ratchet when needed.

Each socket fits the corresponding tap shank.Sockets 6 & 7 LOOK the same size, but they fit different taps.There are no size markings or stamps on the adapters. The less expensive competitor’s product has the size stamped into each socket. (I returned them believing sockets 6 & 7 were defective, and purchased this set for $10 more.)I’d prefer the less expensive set of equal quality (but no silicon holder) with the sizes stamped into them.I use them (near) daily. Taps break; the sockets haven’t.

Fits well with the different tap sizes. Clean finish on each piece. The guys at work borrow these all the time. And we use them everyday. We tap dozens of holes a day, and they hold up! The o-ring on the inside is holding up to the work.

The good - it seems to be sturdy enough and does the job.What could be improved -1) there's no hole to secure sockets to the wratchet wrench, so they slip out easily.2) there are no size markings on the sockets or the socket holder, so you have to eyeball and try to get the right size.Overall, it's worth having it.

I just used these to tap a 3mm hole to put DRO scales on my lathe. I could not reach hole with a regular tap handle. I attached one of these to an extension on a 3/8 driver. IT worked like a charm, saved the day.

I’m got tired of my taps slipping in the typical run of the mill tap handles. These sockets tightly hold your taps and allowing you to easily turn them with a socket wrench. Wish I bought these a long time ago.

No brand or size markings on individual sockets otherwise they will do the job.
