Makes removing the clutch spring retainer easy.
The tool engages the lugs and pushes the piston return spring enough to access the snap ring.
The whole process takes just a few minutes.

700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E & 4L70

So this is one of the tools you will need. The other one looks just like this one but longer for the revers gears inside the case.

Well worth the money, I use it everyday on 4L60es and it has held up great.

Locked right in, did its job. Without it, job would have been very difficult. Not a problem with the tool, just be aware, the snap ring under this is a bugger even with this tool.

It was not the one I was wanting I was hoping for the bigger one that goes in the case other than that works like it should but needed the bigger one this one too small
