I have a pretty good studio and for rack mounted outboard FX and power amps I use these cases work very well. As far as taking them on the road I’d say probably not except for your local gigs. These are a little thin to be used out on a tour in my opinion. But not to say they aren’t a good buy because they are. Plus the customer service is really great. My first order didn’t show up and they shipped me another 4 set immediately which I got in a couple of days. 3 weeks later the first order got delivered so being an honest person I contacted them to tell them that the first order was delivered and they told me just to keep the order, no charge. Just goes to show how being honest and not screwing someone over you can be rewarded! I highly recommend this seller and their cases!

This case has served well. Comes with a set of phillips screws and plastic washers. I don't remember how many, but more than enough. The rear cover has a zippered mesh divider inside it and is an ingenious feature. I have has no issues with equipment fitment and case flex. I have also purchased an 8u since.

I probably have a different use for these than most people. I don't use them for audio equipment, I put amateur radio equipment inside and they work well for that. They cost a lot less than a Gator case and I suppose there may be a quality difference but the 6U case I bought works really well and is really sturdy. If you want to build a ham radio go-box this case will save you some money.I can't speak about how they would work for audio equipment and 'on the road' type use.

I mean for me, it works just fine. All I’m doing is transporting my power amp and graphic equalizer around in my car from gig to gig. It’s not like I’m putting it on a truck on the road. Subject to a lot of abuse. It fits a big power amp. Give me a case that I need for transportation. But it’s obviously not super robust.
