I wanted a calligraphy set that was inexpensive and just for fun use. This fits the bill. Has all the colors you need and easy to use. If you are trying to learn the actual art of calligraphy, you may want something different, however that was not my purpose. I just like to sign cards and use for decorative messages for family and friends around the holidays. It's also great for decorating plain wrapping paper.

I purchased the same markers about 6 years ago and they were excellent. Six years later I purchased the exact same markers and they are dries out! So much so, that the colors look totally different.Not happy with the product this time around!

This is the third set of this particular product. They have changed from the “Caligraphy duo 3002 model†which was great. The newer model which I have purchased has shorter length and different caps. The main difference is in the quality. The colors are washed out and on the same pen I always get different quality between the 3.5mm and the 2.0mm ends. The 3.5 mm is always darker than the 2.0mm end. And this holds true throughout all 12 pens. I really miss the 3002 model which was very good.

My handwriting was atrocious so I took up cursive italic script. Plenty of practice and dedication led to readable writing. In Hong Kong I discovered a small shop which specialised in calligraphy. I used to buy these double ended pens on every visit. Last visit the shop had closed. Very pleased to find them available in colour on Amazon.

These are just sketch pins with with, but not soft bending like brushes. to do calligraphy its not suitable

Comprei o kit numa promoção e com cupom de desconto extra. As canetas são exatamente oq eu procurava, ponta achatada e rÃgida. Achei a qualidade boa e vieram todas bem pigmentadas sem falhar.Só achei curioso que na mesma caneta, a cor da tinta q sai na ponta grossa não é a mesma cor q sai na ponta fina (na foto não dá pra ver muito bem, mas pessoalmente são todas diferentes) - não achei ruim, mas pode ser q alguém se incomode com essa diferença na cor.

These pens are great for calligraphy. I would recommend trying out on rough paper first so you get used to the thickness of the nib and the flow of ink.
