I started using this brand of pencil years and years ago when our area had a store that sold art supplies. When they went out of business I bought as many as they had and have used them until I found these on line one fine day. I use them for Crossword Puzzle books. The paper on these books is such that a soft lead pencil is the only kind that shows up dark and erases easily. Crosswords are my relaxation and keep my mind active.

The pencil quality is exceptional with this brand. It holds sharpness and is easy to use for rough sketching, grid lines and highlighting with a light wash of color. I will be purchasing additional pencils pack of various values.

This is designed for charcoal artists but I actually find this to be great for young kids learning to write (K to 2nd grade). The softer lead helps them write with more confidence than the standard #2 pencil we all used for standardized tests.

I'm an artist painting oil on canvas and I sketch some of my work before I painted and I always had difficulty with number two pencils they never could have race and this erases well not completely but well enough but pencil works well and I got the Eraser to go with it

I was getting this so I can make the base drawing of a person, but I guess I can use it to draw the final product. The fact is the lighter you press the lighter the pencil marks appear and the easier it is to erase. overall their the best pencils I've got yet.

I am a sucker for making my presketch really light before inking so 10H lead, the hardest lead, is my choice of lightness. It certainly a difference in lightness when I came from using 4H and 6H pencils. This brand also has reliable unbreakble lead that never once happened to me using these pencils. Being a hard pencil they certainly going to last a loooong time (1 hard pencil lasts me a year of everyday sketching). I'm gonna keep using them till the day I die.
