Some had This bag on my last dive trip. So I decided to purchase it. It appears well built and has a limited lifetime warranty. It was also on sale.

Perfect sized bag for all my warm water diving gear (3mm full wetsuit, mask, fins, reg bag, dive computer case, GoPro case, mesh bag, save-a-dive kit, Leatherman and a few other misc small items). The bag survived it's first trip overseas, which included international flights, island hopping on multiple prop planes, and stowage on sailboats, without any visible wear. It seems ready for many future trips! The top of the bag bulged quite a bit when the bag was packed, but that didn't cause any problems. The pocket layout is good, allowing easy access to small items even when packed.

I got this because my wife's Stahlsac has worked perfectly, and after several years of service - shows very little wear-tear. My gear fits this one fine, and there's sufficient room for some clothes as well. It stands well (my previous TUSA bag would fall over within 2 seconds), and looks like it will perform just as well over time. This bag hasn't made its initial trip yet, but all indications are it will perform just like my wife's.

This is a great bag. The second one I've bought. The first is still in service. I'm on the road 5-6 months a year and the bags often see rugged use. They hold up. I've read that some people have problems, I have not. I guess in any product there are some flaws. I use this bag for travel and work. It gets beat up in airports, cars, and on ships. Never had a problem. It is also relatively light for its size.

This is the largest bag that Stahlsac makes that will meet the airline requirements for checked bags. Yet the way it is configured it is not large enough to get my scuba gear in it. I managed to squeeze my fins (Apex RK3) into the bag (the sides are not tall enough to accommodate them well) but then I am unable to get my standard backplate and wing into the bag. I'm not sure where I would have room to get a mask and reg and other periphery into the bag. A wet-suit would be out of the question. Come on Stahlsac, you're supposed to be making dive bags. This would make a nice duffel bag for the gym, but not a bag for a serious scuba diver.

Nice bag. It is lighter and less bulky than our previous bags. It is a little smaller than I am used to but did hold all the dive gear we needed for our trip (one full set of dive gear-including fins- and some clothing). Held up great on the multiple flight we took and all gear arrived in good shape.

This is my replacement dive travel bag. Capacity is great. However the back corners are starting to wear through after our first trip to Fiji.

held all my equipment and more. Easy to transport over rough terrain and best, was easy to clean after a storing wet sandy, dirty gear for transport home. Definitely recommend. Only a few small pockets for small items or flat gear (e.g. dive lights, hood, etc).. and two roomy compartments. No problem fitting a couple sets of fins.

This is my second Stahlsac travel bag. The first broke after five years of hard use, which is longer than I have managed to get out of any other travel SCUBA bag. I did not have time to repair it before my last trip, and needing a replacement on short notice I bought a newer version of the same bag, knowing I can trust it. I take six to eight SCUBA travel trips annually, all requiring connected air travel, and I need a large sturdy bag I can rely on, but one that is light enough to meet airline weight restrictions. The zipper on the fabric attaching the bag to the rear frame split on my first Stahlsac, and it is good to see this newer version does not use a zippered rear fabric section (I will repair that first Stahlsac bag and use it as a backup as the rest of the bag is still in good shape in spite of a lot of use). This bag easily holds a complete set of travel SCUBA gear in the main compartment. For me that's a pair of large Slingshot fins, travel BCD, an expensive mask protected in it's plastic case, two 3mm wet suits & assorted neoprene, a scuba accessories bag (containing reel, compass, safety sausage, spare gauges, hoses & straps, clips, repair kit, etc.), a collapsable mesh gear bag, plus a little room left for a few small travel accessories or trinkets I pick up while travelling. The bag also holds a week's worth of folded resort/boat wear & a pair of flip flops in the zippered front compartment which is surprisingly large. And I always manage to stay under airline weight limits with this bag when loaded. On most SCUBA resort and liveaboard trips I can get by with this single bag plus a small light shoulder carry-on for my regs and dive electronics. The bag is stable standing upright on its plastic base even with the front compartment loaded - surprisingly not all dive bags can do that. It is also well balanced and easy to pull with the handle fully extended - on my last trip the tram connecting airport terminals shut down necessitating a surprise mile long walk at 1am, and I appreciated having one bag that was easy to pull. Dive gear is protected by the semi-rigid back and whatever you load in the front compartment (e.g. clothing). The bag is made from a good strong fabric that stands up well to air travel and doesn't fray. The seams are strong and well sown. The wheels are large & good quality and they roll easy, even over soft ground. There are four compression straps to secure contents. The zippers are decent quality though I recommend using twist ties or small locks on the zipper pairs to keep the compartments closed as the zippers seem to creep a bit. There are two sturdy fabric handles for lifting the bag (top and side) and both work well when lifting a loaded bag off of airport luggage conveyors or carrying up and down stairs. There is also a convenient handle on the front of the plastic baseplate that can be used in conjunction with the top handle when loading the bag onto a vehicle or boat - surprising how few SCUBA bags make two handed lifting easy. I also like the way this bag is not marked specifically as a SCUBA gear bag like bags provided by gear manufacturers are, so this bag is a less obvious target for thieves. I will also use this bag for non-SCUBA travel as it is light and well designed and can hold a lot of stuff. A good tough bag, particularly for SCUBA travel, and I recommend it.
