The first impression is that these are OEM. Great quality and machining for a fraction of the cost with Amazon delivery. On long expeditions, I usually keep my MAXTRAX Boards on top of a Pelican Case that contains some of my other recovery gear. But I take that setup off when not traveling to minimize windage on my roof rack.For more casual day outings in the area, I have been placing the recovery bords in the back of the Land Cruiser, not optimal especially if you end up using them and they get full of mud. I have therefore been meaning to create some brackets that will fit my RhinoRack on which I can install an extra set of mounting pins.As the photos showcase, with a little aluminum and some free time, I have accomplished the project for a very reasonable investment using these Mounting Pins for MAXTRAX. Very happy with the end result.

Broke while installing and then just spun in place, wasn't able to remove the nut. Look to be decent quality but maybe I just had a dud.

The tolerance between the bolts and my roof rack was so tight it had to be screwed all the way into the mounting holes. I would have expected them to slide into the slots a bit more easily but i guess that's technically a perfect fit.All the mounting hardware seems solid. The plastic sheathe on the bolts seems like a good quality plastic material.

After installing and seeing I had to make adjustments, to add washers, the nut stop turning halfway off, I’ve try everything, WD-40, nothing, I have to hacksaw it off, so not making it look funny I had to buy two more bots with washers and nuts to make it look nice

I have a roof rack and these bolts and nuts are way too big. We did get them to work but had to create a modified mount for the trax. Its ok, but I should have paid closer attention to the bolt size before ordering. The quality seems to be ok and they do fit the MaxTrax well.

I bought these for our max trax. We rigged up a system to put them on our roof rack. The threads on these are really crappy. We could not screw the nut onto this far enough to tighten them. The threads are not machined well.

I think there ok. But the reason I give it only a 2 star is because they barely fit, and also the holes to put the locks are very small. Not even sure where to get locks to fit these.

Worked well for my needs better quality then expected. they need really small locks wish the hole was bigger but any thing bigger would weaken the lock location just hard to find weather proof locks that small
