Perfect fit in my Lyfe Tyme smoker box. Good metal and easy to assemble. Lets me keep wood in place while burning down. Not as tall as some others I have seen but its what I needed.

Purchased for use in the firebox of an Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn Combo grill and smoker. Fits easily in firebox. It is truly solid. Makes cleanup and sifting of ashes very easy the next day.Assembly was annoying at first. The provided screws seemed too short. Then I switched the order of assembly so the short L leg was inside the long leg of the adjoining section. See second pic. Then the four sides assembled nicely. That assembled square fit snugly into the bottom, which then attached easily. It was snug but a couple raps from a mallet got it seated.Using this basket instead of just letting charcoal sprawl in the firebox improved heat control. It also helped with igniting fresh charcoal as it was added. After several uses the stainless steel is only lightly discolored, which you would expect from all that heat. I'm pleased.Happy smoking. Hope this helps someone.

Very well-made out of heavy-gauge stainless. Fit perfectly in my Char-Griller offset smoker. Keeps the coal stacked for superior burning and allows for split wood or junks to be added with plenty of space. I purchased the 10x10x6. to fit the 17-inch offset box, which is attached to my 30-inch Char-Griller barrel. The size also permits moving the box to or away from the dampener opening, as well as up or down to adjust the heat entering the main chamber.

This fit perfectly in my offset char-griller and is sturdier than I thought. There was just enough room in my offset box to keep a couple of wood chunks nice and hot and ready to throw in the basket when it was time to refuel. My first time using it, I cooked a brisket for 8 hours with great success. It kept my coals and wood nice and snug which is key to maintaining desired temps, especially in cooler weather. It will definitely help to minimize temperature fluctuations for long cooks and can shorten your cooking time without compromising quality. It's one of those things you don't know you need until you get one. I highly recommend it!
