It’s small but the perfect size to serve as a water cup for my travel watercolor setup. I can clip it onto my sketchbook or sketch board. It’s quite sturdy and high-quality too.Came with a small water brush, which is a weird combo, since you wouldn’t need a water cup if you’re using a water brush, but I like having the water brush as an alternative for an even more portable setup.

These were a gift for someone who does oil painting and she loved them! Personally, I thought they would be bigger. When I first saw them I was thinking they would work for pour paintings but they are about the diameter of a quarter. 4 stars because the picture is misleading in that way.

Cups and clips are great. But the reason I ordered these is to have ones that seal water in while travelling. The lids do not seal.What’s the point of lids that don’t seal/keep anything in?None. There’s no point.

Solvents used for oil painting warp the caps of the palette cups. Eventually, it becomes a mission to keep the rubber stoppers in place, so you replace them. These palette cups solve the cap issue. They are awesome. The cap is simple without a rubber stopper, but it works beautifully. I own 8 of them, and I store my mixtures for the next use. Love them.

I paint using large (½ - 2 “) brushes. I bought these cups because they look larger than others pictured and I hoped they would hold more solvent. Unfortunately the photos are very misleading and the cups are ridiculously small. My fault because I didn’t read the reviews (which I normally do) before I purchased them. Lesson learned!

Works exactly as promised. My daughter loves to paint and has been using a wood palette for years. I purchased this along with a few other artist tools and she is thrilled with how easy this is to clean
