What a mistake to order this, read the reviews before ordering. I should have read previous reviews.$16.99 SHIPPING charge, yes a total RIP-OFF.It finally arrived, and the screen to mash the garlic through is very scratched and the finish looks very worn. Is it previously used?And the cost to return, NOT WORTH IT!Very disappointed!

As I said below, this garlic press is no better than many others. However, I recently needed to make some apple sauce. I peeled and chopped the apple. Put it in a plastic lidded container for a couple of minutes with a little water. When I took it out I used this gadget instead of a fork. Magic! Easy, quick and comfortable handle to use.! Very happy. It will work well to puree other fruits (pears, peaches, etc).Original review:I was very disappointed with this product. From the promotional video it showed the gadget was able to cut and grind right through the garlic clove. But as you can see it still leaves a lot of squashed but not ground garlic pulp.Back to my one hand garlic press which gives similar results, but I find easier to clean. The ground garlic gets stuck in the grater. As I said, disappointed.

The concept is great but the reality is mediocre. As others have stated, much of the bulb doesnââŹâ˘t go through the grater and itââŹâ˘s very hard to clean that remainder off the grate. The videos are misleading - it does not work that well. Maybe their garlic has been cooked first?

This looked like a steal at less than $4 but the price hid pretty much the mailing price which was over $15 !. Also the product was weeks late. When it finally arrived, this was not a proper garlic roller but a minute piece of rolled weak plastic capable of lasting a few months maybe and good for only one clove at a time. The press had But for about $4 and $15 mailing as the Sopranos said FEGEDDABOUTIT. Amazon did the right thing (as usual) and refunded. Great customer service. Pity the product.

Bent it on first use and tried to fix the bend and broke the plastic handle. I am back to hand mincing my garlic as I can not use the squeeze type garlic press
